MD® White Factor: Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about MD® White Factor, our physician-formulated glutathione supplement, formulated to support your body's antioxidant defences and a more even-looking complexion.
Product & Brand Credentials
Is MD® White Factor physician-formulated?
Yes. It was developed by Dr. Susan Lin, who selected the ALA and Vitamin C ratios based on published research on glutathione stability and recycling.
Does MD® White Factor contain synthetic fillers or dyes?
No. MD® White Factor is free of artificial colours, stearates, and common allergens, making it a good fit for a clean supplement routine.
Is the capsule plant-based?
Yes, we use vegetable cellulose capsules (V-Caps), making the product suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Where is MD® White Factor manufactured?
It is manufactured in a GMP-certified, FDA-registered facility in the USA, with strict quality control and ingredient integrity.
How It Works & Key Comparisons
Why choose MD® White Factor over 500mg Glutathione pills?
MD® White Factor provides 1,600mg per daily serving, a higher level than typical 500mg glutathione supplements, formulated alongside ALA and Vitamin C.
How does MD® White Factor compare with Hydroquinone?
The two are not comparable: hydroquinone is a topical pharmaceutical agent, while MD® White Factor is an oral antioxidant supplement. If you are considering hydroquinone, discuss it with your dermatologist.
How does MD® White Factor differ from IV Glutathione drips?
IV glutathione is an in-clinic procedure. MD® White Factor is designed for convenient daily oral use at home. We have not compared the two directly.
Does MD® White Factor provide UV protection?
It is not a sunscreen and offers no UV protection. Glutathione is an antioxidant that supports the body's normal defences against oxidative stress. Always wear a broad-spectrum topical SPF.
Usage & Dosing
Can I take MD® White Factor with my morning coffee?
For best results, take it 30 minutes before coffee or food. Caffeine can sometimes speed up digestion too quickly; taking it with water on an empty stomach is generally the best approach for absorption.
How long do I need to stay on the supplement to keep results?
Since skin cells turn over every 28–40 days, we recommend a 3-month initial phase. After the initial phase, a maintenance serving supports ongoing antioxidant levels. Sun protection still requires a topical broad-spectrum SPF.
Is MD® White Factor suitable for long-term use?
MD® White Factor is an antioxidant supplement intended for ongoing daily use. As with any supplement, we recommend reviewing it with your physician, particularly if you take medication or have a medical condition. Many customers include it in a long-term wellness routine to support systemic antioxidant levels.
Can men use MD® White Factor?
Yes. MD® White Factor is suitable for adults of any gender.
Results & Skin Concerns
Will it lighten my natural skin tone or just dark spots?
Users report a more even, luminous-looking complexion over time. Individual results vary.
Does MD® White Factor help with Melasma?
Melasma is a medical condition and should be managed with your dermatologist. MD® White Factor is a dietary supplement that supports the body's antioxidant systems; it is not a treatment for melasma or any other skin condition.
Can it help with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) from acne?
MD® White Factor is not a treatment for acne or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Post-blemish marks fade over time; a dermatologist can advise on managing them.
Does Glutathione help with "Smoker's Skin" or dullness?
Glutathione is one of the body's principal endogenous antioxidants and plays a role in normal liver function. Smoking depletes antioxidant reserves, and supplementation may help support them.
Will it help with dark under-eye circles?
Dark circles have several possible causes, including pigment, thin skin, and visible veins, so results vary. Persistent or sudden changes are worth discussing with your physician.
